David F. Counterman,56, of Enhaut, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. Born in Quakertown, PA, the son of David Loyd and Edith Mae (Strohl) Counterman, he lived in the Harrisburg area for over 15 years before moving to Enhaut 6 years ago.

Dave was employed as a heavy equipment operator by Hempt Bros., Camp Hill, for 7 years. Earlier he had worked in the same capacity for H & K Quarry, Palmyra and previous for Hasen Aggregates in Stroudsburg, PA. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, generally being outdoors and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Cryssy Henry, and her husband Steven, of Enhaut, Matthew D. Countermen and Adam J. Counterman, both of Steelton; grandchildren, Angel Henry and Orion Henry; great granchild, Asher Henry, and lifelong companion, Debbie Serfass.
